in (and against) time highlights Izabela Pluta’s experience of being between Australia and Poland by exploring the ideas of old homeland and new home. To Izabela cultures seem ever more transient, moving back and forward between places she knows and doesn’t know. As a first generation migrant she is interested in investigating this state of flux.
