Join Hester Lyon, Canberra Contemporary's Curator + Program Manager, for a lunchtime deep dive into the world of Tamara Henderson's The Gardener's Bar.

As we walk through the exhibition, Hester will discuss the rhythms and processes that underpin Henderson's practice. We’ll explore the artists process of spending time with a subject to the point of ritualisation. In The Gardener’s Bar, that subject is compost: a process, symbol and intellectual ground from which The Gardener’s Bar emerges in a world of glass, sculpture, painting, film, sound and text.  

The Gardener’s Bar has been assisted by the Australian Government through Creative Australia, its principal arts investment and advisory body, and supported by Canberra Glassworks, the ACT Government through artsACT, and the Canada Council for the Arts.
