Rematriate is a feminist, Indigenous take on “repatriate”. It expands Jessika’s weaving practice into banners and textile installations made from secondhand and naturally dyed materials. Centring sustainability, feminism, and matriarchal knowledge, the works reclaim textile traditions as both cultural memory and contemporary activism, transforming fibre into immersive spaces of resistance and renewal.
