Presented as part of the Craft + Design Canberra Festival.

7 November 2026 - 30 January 2027
Exhibition Opening: Friday 6 November 2026, 6pm

Quietly Seething: Fate, Fury and Transmutation is a major new solo exhibition at Canberra Contemporary by QLD-based artist and craftivist Tal Fitzpatrick. As an ongoing and iterative project, ‘Quietly Seething’ focuses on themes of feminine rage through the lens of cloth, and demonstrates an ambitious reimagining of the possibilities of contemporary craft and textile practice as a tool for political and social change.
