Canberra’s planning and architecture has provided a vast landscape for a creative life. In Imprint: Growing up Planned, curator Virginia Rigney examines how growing up in a planned environment affected Canberra’s creative young minds at a seminal point in Canberra’s history. Growing up in Canberra is a unique experience. The endless maze of roundabouts, the large suburban blocks and the lake, which divides the city, all leave a lasting impression. Imprint brings together a group of artists, architects, designers and academics that have grown up in Canberra from 1954 –1973.
