Australia’s Indigenous people were the first to see light break over this beautiful land. Since then, a lot has happened, a lot has changed. There has been darkness, there have been shadows, but just as the sun always rises, light always triumphs. Contemporary Indigenous artists harness the power of light in many ways. They illuminate their stories and experiences, and light the way to a better future.
