My work emerges at the intersection of Street art and traditional printmaking techniques. It is through this combination of meticulous etching and the immediacy of spray painting, combined with light, that I arrive at a moment in which time has been paused – an “Electric Drawing”.

This suspended state – of falling, frailty, struggle and dancing, reflects my thoughts on the changes and instabilities that are around me. (Alexander Boynes, 2009)
