WEATHER EVERYTHING

Rozalind Drummond

27 April - 26 May 2007

Rozalind Drummond’s photography flows through the world, lightly touching the people, places and subjects of interest that she sees from behind the camera. The frame of reference for her practice brackets a wide range of interests: from cinema and specific genres of film, to current events and certain aspects of life; interests which are no more or less specifically relevant to this body of work. If Drummond’s photographs evoke associations with film and photography from elsewhere, this equally evidences our capacity as viewers to bring these and other contexts to the works - and the irrepressibility of mind and memory.
